What you will be doing
The Product Analyst, Secured Lending plays a key role in supporting Tangerine’s mortgage and secured lending product strategy. You will partner closely with the Senior Manager Mortgage Product & Pricing, cross functional teams, and frontline leadership to deliver insights, improve processes, and support initiatives that drive acquisition, client experience, and portfolio growth functional teams, and frontline leadership to deliver insights, improve processes, and support initiatives that drive acquisition, client experience, and portfolio growth.
Product Strategy & Insights
- Support the development and optimization of strategies to grow new mortgage acquisition and deepen existing client relationships.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to application volumes, funnel performance, client behavior, and campaign results to inform product decisions.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data driven analysis and provide clear recommendations to leadership driven analysis and provide clear recommendations to leadership.
Journey & Process Optimization
- Map and analyze stages of the sales, fulfillment, and renewal journeys to uncover inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with frontline teams (e.g., MAMs, Renewals, Fulfillment) to understand operational realities and translate insights into solutions.
- Support digital and process enhancement initiatives focused on improving speed, quality, and client experience.
- Project & Initiative Support
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of product initiatives, rate promotions, marketing campaigns, and regulatory projects.
- Prepare business cases, project documentation, and requirements to support broader product objectives.
- Work with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and others to ensure alignment and successful delivery of product enhancements.
Reporting & Communication
- Build dashboards, presentations, and recurring reports to communicate results, insights, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to leadership updates, monthly business reviews, and cross functional forums functional forums.
- Maintain strong documentation and tracking of ongoing work and initiatives.

Education & Experience
- University or College degree in Business, Finance, Data/Analytics, Economics, or related field.
- Experience in financial services is an asset - especially lending, mortgages, product management, or analytics.
- Exposure to client journey mapping, process design, or campaign analytics is beneficial.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or analytics tools (SQL, Python) is an asset.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
