What you will be doing:
Tangerine is looking for a passionate change agent to join the Technology team as we re-imagine financial services technology, and double-down on our digital-first-disruptor roots. In this high-impact role, you will use expert change management, business operations, communications skills to work with all members of the technology team to build and maintain a sense of purpose and pride in what we do. You will also work closely with Tangerine’s technology leadership team to manage departmental communications, plan team events, coordinate enterprise initiatives, and deliver development and learning programs for the Tangerine Technology team. Finally, you will be a key contributor to strengthening our external brand to attract and retain the talent that will achieve competitive differentiation for Tangerine in the digital banking market.
Is this role right for you? It is if you want to:
- Partner with the CTO and Tangerine Technology senior leadership team to develop an organizational strategy to support our technology transformation.
- Lead the planning and coordination of technology team communications, events, and programs to build and maintain a highly engaged employee base.
- Build a leading brand for the Tangerine Technology in the broader technology sector through external communications and events.
- Develop disciplined internal routines and strategic programs to foster innovation within the Tangerine Technology team.
- Design and implement learning and development programs for leading-edge technical skills and leadership development.
- Collaborate with the other Tangerine departments on change management strategies and communications to support organizational changes.
- Support operations and reporting for Technology leadership, ensuring that reports collect the right data to tell a sincere story of our efforts.
- Organize disciplined collaboration routines for Technology leadership to build and maintain alignment to Tangerine’s corporate strategy.
- Support the preparation of executive briefings, board materials, and regulatory submissions.
- Support logistics and operations for our technology transformation to ensure smooth coordination of multiple stakeholders through the main execution and testing phases of the program.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Support oversight of regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation for the CTO’s portfolio.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, and similar consideration, in all facets of the role.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- 8+ years’ experience in financial services, consulting, or a related field, with exposure to strategy, business operations, and communications.
- Passion for employee engagement and building a high-performance culture within a large technical team.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel.
- Strong executive communication capabilities, including written briefs, presentation decks, and live stakeholder updates.
- High level of discretion and political acumen; knowing how to manage sensitive information and with whom to discuss it.
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic business environment
- Superior interpersonal skills, leadership and influencing capabilities.
- Highly developed relationship management skills for both internal partners and external vendors.
- Proven track record delivering innovative solutions from concept to change management.
