What you will be doing:

As a Senior Graphic Designer on the Creative Service Team, you will handle graphic design requests to ensure all visual executions are seamless and represent the Tangerine Brand. You will be responsible for the design and production of various visual assets for email, marketing campaigns, the website, mobile app, and content marketing support. The successful candidate thrives in a dynamic, collaborative, fast-paced environment and is dedicated to design excellence and creativity. You work to create effective and impactful design solutions. The Senior Graphic Designer will report directly into the Creative Lead, Marketing.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

• Create original, high-quality illustrations and graphics that align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
• Collaborating with teams to conceptualize and execute custom illustrations that enhance user engagement across digital platforms will be second nature to you, as you’ll work closely with marketing and product design.
• Ensure consistency of visual assets across all digital channels and cross-functional teams.
• Articulate design decisions based on design principles, customer data, and business needs.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple project priorities and deadlines.
• Interact and consult with other team members and stakeholders at various levels including copywriters, project managers, creative specialists, digital project owners, agile team leaders, managers, directors and VPs.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Tangerine Design system.
• Contribute to shaping, influencing and nurturing our design culture and process.
  
  

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in graphic design (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Exceptional creative, graphic design, and illustration skills for print, web, and mobile, with a strong portfolio showcasing original illustration work.
• Strong visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, and colour.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional knowledge of Mac platform with expert skills in o Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or equivalent
  • Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat
  • Web (knowledge of best practices, image optimization, responsive design/programming, HTML and CSS)
• Your toolbox includes Figma and Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint). Experience with Adobe After Effects is an asset.
• Ability to work independently when required, and highly collaborative with groups at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to develop and adapt illustration styles to suit various campaign needs.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions.
• Positive and resilient, with the ability to embrace feedback and strong desire for continuous improvement and iteration.
