What you will be doing:
The Senior Analyst, Wealth Solutions position supports the Wealth Solutions team by owning the design, production, and ongoing enhancement of performance reporting, competitive benchmarking, and product insights across Tangerine’s wealth offerings. This role will help to support business cases for marketing ideas and investment platform enhancement, and ensure advisors have the tools, data, and support to succeed. The Senior Analyst will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Technology, and third party managers to build scalable reporting processes, strengthen documentation, and support platform and product feature enhancements. The role requires strong analytical capability, SQL proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain recurring reports on fund performance, flows, peer rankings, cost metrics, and client behaviors.
- Conduct market scans, competitive benchmarking, and client research to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Build and optimize SQL queries, data models, and automated reporting pipelines.
- Conduct deep dive analyses to identify drivers of performance, risk exposures, client outcomes, and operational metrics.
- Support KPI development and measurement frameworks for wealth products and platforms.
- Product & Platform Support
- Partner with Senior Manager and product leads to analyze wealth product gaps, competitive positioning, and enhancement opportunities.
- Develop business cases, provide recommendations and help with platform feature prioritization.
- Documentation & Governance
- Establish and maintain documentation for reporting logic, data sources, business assumptions, and operational procedures.
- Support compliance and regulatory updates on fund performance and disclosures on public website.
- Ad Hoc & Cross Functional Work
- Respond to quick-turn analytics and insight requests from Senior Leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Support advisor enablement by preparing data-driven insights for training materials, playbooks, and product knowledge resources.

- Collaborate with Technology and Digital teams to troubleshoot data issues and support platform optimization.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, STEM, Data/Analytics, or related field.
- 3–5 years in wealth management, investments, product analytics, or similar roles.
- Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.
- Solid understanding of investment products (mutual funds, ETFs, model portfolios, managed solutions, SMAs).
- Experience with fund and market research tools (e.g., Morningstar) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguity and shifting priorities, with a focus on execution.
- Excellent communication and ability to distill insights for non-technical stakeholders.
