What you will be doing:

Provide agile, high-impact support to the Program Director and the broader  team by proactively supporting the execution of Tangerine’s Project Clarity Strategy roadmap by tracking and reporting on financial and non-financial dashboards, maintaining project status updates, supporting internal communications and feedback loops, and ensuring organized access to project documentation. 


Act as a Project Clarity ambassador by fostering strong partnerships, simplifying collaboration across teams, and supporting Tangerine’s evolving culture through ad hoc social and engagement events. This is a high impact hands-on role with daily interaction with all members of the Project Velocity team including team members, vendor partners, and senior executives. Duties will often differ day-to-day to ensure the effective running of the program.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Project Clarity Delivery Support
    • Track and report on financial and non-financial project metrics, including dashboards, risk and issue logs, milestone progress, and initiative health. 
    • Maintain centralized access to project documentation, ensuring materials are organized, version-controlled, and easily accessible to stakeholders including meeting minutes, decisions, actions. 
    • Support internal communications by drafting updates, coordinating feedback loops, and preparing presentation materials for leadership and governance forums. 
    • Attend sprint reviews, demos, and working sessions to capture key actions, escalate concerns, and ensure alignment across teams. 
    • Assist in identifying and escalating delivery risks or blockers, and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies. 
    • Provide weekly reporting support to product and transformation leadership, ensuring visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies. 
    • Collaborate with initiative leads to ensure timely updates and consistent reporting across workstreams.

  • Culture & Engagement 
    • Act as a Project Clarity ambassador by fostering strong partnerships and making it easy for others to engage with the transformation program. 
    • Support the planning and execution of ad hoc social and engagement events that reinforce Tangerine’s evolving culture and team cohesion.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Business related post-secondary degree or diploma or equivalent experience  
  • Strong interest in digital banking and creating new ways of working  
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting a business across a variety of areas such as meeting logistics, office/real estate optimization, and internal communications.  
  • Knowledge of digital banking and/or digital services  
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the governance frameworks and structures in the Bank 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, build relationships and collaborate in a cross functional environment 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of the business team 
  • Superior attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, manage and organize priorities, troubleshoot, use judgment, and deliver timely and high quality results 
  • Excellent problem diagnosis and analytical skills  
  • Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio savviness  
  • Minimum 2 year experience in a financial services and/or banking environment
