What you will be doing:

Our design team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Mobile Product Designer to join our innovative and collaborative team. We live and breathe product design and thrive on creating user experiences that truly stand out. If you have dedicated your craft at turning research into designs that people love, you're the one we want.

As a Mobile Product Designer, you'll be at the heart of improving our mobile channel. Your task: to craft user journeys and interactions that users can't resist, using design research, delightful visuals, and UX principles.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will lead:

• You'll lead the charge in making our product interactions and visuals top-notch.
• Elicit design based on business requirements and align on creative strategy and client experience between product, design, and development teams.
• Conducting studies on usability, interaction, visual design, content, and information architecture is your jam.
• Your design decisions will be guided by principles, customer insights, data, and business savviness.
• You'll be on a constant quest to make user interactions even better.
• Collaboration is your middle name, whether it's with service designers, accessibility champions, or content creators.
• You'll help evolve the Tangerine Design system. Champions a mobile-first design approach with a keen understanding on how to scale solutions across channels.
• Knowledge on accessibility best-practices ensuring inclusive design solutions.
• Your mission: shape, influence, and nurture our design culture and process.
• You are able to plan design activities, set expectations on timing and balance creativity with constraints.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We'd love to work with you if you have:

• You bring 5+ years of experience in crafting native mobile apps.
• Your talent lies in creating visually stunning designs and captivating visual assets.
• Your portfolio? It's a treasure trove of wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and conceptual explorations.
• You're the go-to person for mobile user interface best practices.
• Your toolbox includes Figma and Sketch, and you're a pro at interactive prototyping, animation, and usability studies.
• The UI frameworks and guidelines for iOS and Android? You know them inside out.
• Familiarity with mobile app development is a plus, and a basic understanding of languages like Swift/Objective-C and Java/Kotlin is a bonus.
• Quality is your motto, and you're meticulous in design QA.
• Your communication skills are top-notch, and you work smoothly with developers and stakeholders.
• If you've got financial institution or related experience, that's a bonus.
