What you will be doing:
As a Manager, Digital Analytics implementation, you will be involved with tagging, data analytics and insight specialist supporting digital product and marketing initiatives across multiple channels and platforms to help drive engagement, leads, sales and primacy.
You will be working with Tangerine’s developers on projects to understand, design, implement, and validate analytics tag and code for Tangerine’s mobile and web platform, primarily using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and will support Tangerine’s efforts in identifying and implementing automation and innovation in web analytics implementation, quality assurance and reporting.
You will also be responsible for the development of workable JavaScript code involving analytics implementations with platforms such as Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Determine the design and implementation of digital analytics tracking, tagging, and targeting and provide teams with code for implementation
- Define the structure of data layers and firebase analytics and ensure GA4 is implemented through tag management systems
- Implement web analytics tools using Google Analytics, collaborate with front-end developers, back-end developers, and analytic teams to build solutions for measurement of client platforms
- Support campaign requirements for pixel and conversion tracking and maintain any link tracking documents
- Create dashboards using GA4 API, BigQuery and Data Studio
- Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the digital analytics team
- Proactively initiate, research, and perform data analysis and provide ad-hoc reports to internal stakeholders on web usage, user engagement, and behavioral analytics on websites and email campaigns
- Analyze digital marketing campaign performance and user behavior patterns to provide valuable insight and to optimize user engagement and improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Identify bugs in analytics tags through debugging tool and provide solutions to development team
- Provide clear and concise technical direction, expertise, advice and tracking solutions to frontend developers, backend developers, and analytic teams to build tools for measurement of client platforms
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
Technical Expertise Required:
- 2+ years’ strong understanding of all the following: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- 2 + years: Expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) implementation using Google Tag Manager or similar
- 2 + years: in configuring marketing pixels
- Expertise in implementing mobile app tracking with Firebase
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with data storytelling, visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation
- Expertise in creating dashboards in Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio and transforming data from multiple sources
- Experience presenting reports and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and Big Query, Python
- Experience working with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, DoubleClick Manager, AppNexus)
- Experience with Adobe Launch/AEP
Soft Skills Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work independently and with other groups in a professional and productive manner
- Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical, logical, and organizational skills
