What you will be doing: 

The AI enablement lead is responsible for supporting Tangerine’s AI roadmap and functional deployment of AI capabilities across the team, working closely with partners in strategic transformation, operations, product, analytics and technology.  

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: 

• Support AI enablement across functions by:
  • Leveraging excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrating deep competency translating into plain language the business value generated via complex data, analytics & technology initiatives  
  • Designing stakeholder outreach and user forums that identify gaps/opportunities across the AI maturity curve. Facilitate self-assessments and co-create target state roadmaps for local stakeholders  
  • Demonstrating analytics, data and digital technology literacy
  • Reporting regularly on performance of initiatives deployed across the Bank and periodic updates to Board and/or Innovation Council sub-committees  
    
  • Ensuring AI projects and initiatives remain aligned to business needs, requirements and priorities  
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with outside consultants where the expertise does not exist 
    
  • Developing and implementing AI strategies that support business objectives, including management of related programs or projects
    
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products
    
  • Monitoring and analyzing AI trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technology
    
  • Ensuring scalability and efficiency in AI model deployment
    
  • Mentoring team members and foster a collaborative working environment

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have: 

• Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field; Desired: Master’s or Ph.D. in AI-related fields.
• Proven experience in managing AI projects and leading technical teams.
• In-depth knowledge of AI, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
• Strong understanding of data science concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Comfort with AI technologies and languages such as SAS, Python, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Deep Learning and cloud native assistants such as CoPilot, Gemini, Agentspace, etc
• Experienced with Data Analysis
• Agile Project Management experience / competency
