What you will be doing:

You will play a critical role in forecasting, portfolio analytics, and business performance management for Tangerine's Small Business Lending portfolio. Leveraging data-driven insights, you'll help develop strategies that accelerate growth, enhance client experience, and improve profitability. You'll work collaboratively across Product, Risk, Finance, and Analytics teams to influence key decisions, bring innovative ideas to life, and support the evolution of Tangerine's small business banking offerings.

•    Championing a client-obsessed culture by helping small business clients achieve their goals through data-driven lending strategies and portfolio management. 
•    Leveraging a growth mindset by challenging conventional thinking and continuously improving forecasting, analytics, and business processes. 
•    Contributing to a dynamic workplace that fosters trust, integrity, and inclusion while partnering effectively across Product, Risk, Finance, Analytics, and Business Banking teams. 
•    Removing obstacles and driving momentum across teams to deliver strategic initiatives and business outcomes. 
•    Leading forecasting, pricing, and portfolio performance management efforts for Tangerine's Small Business Lending portfolio. 
•    Developing insights and recommendations that support profitable portfolio growth, client acquisition, retention, and engagement. 
•    Evaluating market opportunities, portfolio risks, and economic trends to inform business strategies and lending decisions. 
•    Translating complex data and business challenges into actionable insights that influence decision-making at all levels of the organization. 
•    Driving continuous improvement through strategic thinking, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. 
•    Building and developing a high-performing team while fostering an inclusive, accountable, and results-driven culture.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

•    Comfort and confidence adapting to new tools and ways of working. 
•    AI fluency and the ability to leverage technology and data to improve forecasting, portfolio performance, and business outcomes. 
•    A strong passion for analytics and translating insights into practical solutions that drive business growth. 
•    Deep analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience assessing portfolio performance, profitability, and lending strategies. 
•    Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence executives and cross-functional partners. 
•    The ability to simplify complex business challenges and communicate recommendations clearly to diverse audiences. 
•    Experience developing business cases, strategic plans, and performance management frameworks. 
•    Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across Product, Risk, Finance, Analytics, Adjudication, and Business Banking teams. 
•    Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with execution and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
•    A track record of fostering an inclusive culture while leading teams through change and transformation. 
•    Strong understanding of small business lending products, portfolio economics, risk drivers, and business banking market dynamics.
