What you will be doing:

You will play a critical role in forecasting, portfolio analytics, and strategic initiatives for Tangerine's Secured Lending business. By combining data, market insights, and business acumen, you'll identify opportunities to optimize growth, profitability, and client value. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you'll help shape product and portfolio strategies, deliver impactful recommendations to senior leaders, and build a high-performing team that drives results in a dynamic environment.

•    Championing a client-obsessed culture by leveraging data-driven insights to deliver lending solutions that create value for homeowners and support positive client outcomes. 
•    Leveraging a growth mindset by continuously seeking opportunities to improve forecasting methodologies, portfolio performance, and business processes. 
•    Contributing to a dynamic workplace that fosters trust, integrity, and inclusion while building strong relationships across Product, Risk, Finance, and Analytics teams. 
•    Removing obstacles and simplifying complexity to help accelerate strategic initiatives and improve business outcomes. 
•    Leading the forecasting and performance management of Tangerine's Secured Lending portfolio, transforming data and market insights into actionable recommendations. 
•    Shaping portfolio growth strategies through pricing analytics, profitability assessments, business case development, and scenario planning. 
•    Identifying opportunities and risks arising from economic trends, housing market developments, and competitive dynamics. 
•    Influencing strategic decisions by presenting clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. 
•    Building and developing a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous development.

•    Comfort and confidence adapting to new tools and ways of working. 
•    AI fluency and the ability to leverage emerging technologies to enhance forecasting, portfolio management, and decision-making. 
•    A passion for using data and analytics to drive business performance and strategic outcomes. 
•    Strong financial, forecasting, and portfolio management acumen, with the ability to connect economic trends to lending performance. 
•    Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience translating complex data into actionable business insights. 
•    Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders using data-driven recommendations. 
•    Proven ability to develop business cases, evaluate strategic opportunities, and drive initiatives from concept through execution. 
•    Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Risk, Finance, Analytics, and Operations teams. 
•    Experience managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
•    A track record of building strong relationships, fostering an inclusive culture, and leading teams through change. 
•    Strong understanding of secured lending products, mortgage economics, pricing strategies, and key portfolio performance drivers.
