MD Management Limited, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts to join our team.

As a Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts you will be responsible for reengaging clients and actively promoting and referring clients to the MD offering best suited to their needs. You will also play a key role in prospecting and growing the client base.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Connect with clients virtually, by phone and by email to conduct discovery conversations and foster engagement relative to the MD Financial Management and Scotiabank offerings, to identify new opportunities and ensure service alignment
• Build rapport and trusted relationships with MD clients through active listening, responding to queries, and by developing an appreciation of what’s important to them
   

The Must Haves:

• University degree in business, commerce or equivalent degree related to the practice of financial planning
• IIROC Licensed as a Registered Representative (RR), will also consider IR licensed 
• At minimum, the Canadian Securities Course & Conduct & Practices Handbook is required 
• Completion of the Group Annuity Sector (PQPAV) (Quebec offices only); Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) (all other provinces) 
• Demonstrated working knowledge of financial planning and financial services
• Bilingual (French/English) preferred

Gestion MD limitée, une division de Gestion de patrimoine Scotia, cherche une personne talentueuse, passionnée et soucieuse de la clientèle pour pourvoir le poste de conseillère financière ou conseiller financier, Comptes régionaux.
Dans le cadre de ce poste, vous serez responsable de reprendre contact avec les clients et de promouvoir et recommander activement les solutions de MD qui répondent à leurs besoins. Vous contribuerez grandement à la prospection et à l’acquisition de nouveaux clients.

Ce poste est-il pour vous? Voici vos principales responsabilités :

Vous communiquerez avec les clients en ligne, par téléphone et par courriel pour tenir des conversations exploratoires et pour favoriser leur engagement relativement à l’offre de services de Gestion financière MD et de la Banque Scotia, dans le but de repérer de nouvelles occasions et d’assurer l’harmonisation des services. 
Vous établirez une relation de confiance avec les clients de MD en faisant preuve d’écoute active, en répondant à leurs demandes de renseignements et en tenant compte de ce qui est important pour eux.
 

Les essentiels

Diplôme universitaire en administration des affaires, en commerce ou dans un domaine connexe à la planification financière.
Permis de représentant inscrit (RI) de l’OCRCVM; le permis de représentant en placement (RP) sera également pris en compte. 
Le Cours sur le commerce des valeurs mobilières au Canada et le cours relatif au Manuel sur les normes de conduite sont des exigences minimales. 
Permis dans la catégorie des régimes de rentes collectives (PQPAV) (Québec seulement); Programme de qualification en assurance de personnes (PQAP) (toutes les autres provinces). 
Connaissance fonctionnelle démontrée de la planification financière et des services financiers.
Bilinguisme (anglais-français) de préférence.
