MD Management Limited, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts to join our team.


As a Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts you will be responsible for reengaging clients and actively promoting and referring clients to the MD offering best suited to their needs. You will also play a key role in prospecting and growing the client base.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Connect with clients virtually, by phone and by email to conduct discovery conversations and foster engagement relative to the MD Financial Management and Scotiabank offerings, to identify new opportunities and ensure service alignment
  • Build rapport and trusted relationships with MD clients through active listening, responding to queries, and by developing an appreciation of what’s important to them
     

The Must Haves:

 

  • University degree in business, commerce or equivalent degree related to the practice of financial planning
  • IIROC Licensed as a Registered Representative (RR), will also consider IR licensed 
  • At minimum, the Canadian Securities Course & Conduct & Practices Handbook is required 
  • Completion of the Group Annuity Sector (PQPAV) (Quebec offices only); Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) (all other provinces) 
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of financial planning and financial services
  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred
