This role helps bring strategy and organizational priorities to life by creating and coordinating marketing and communications content for a variety of mediums to ensure the firm is well represented.  The successful candidate positively contributes to the team’s culture, goals and overall team effectiveness.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

Marketing/Events

  • Help execute on the marketing plan, with a focus on supporting the Institutional Management Team and growing the institutional client base
  • Manage JFL’s participation in conferences and sponsorships, including custom bilingual marketing materials as needed
  • Manage activities to run high-quality JFL events, webinars and other client engagement activities, including coordinating guest speakers, venues, catering, registration process, etc.
  • Activation of events through distribution teams and social media (LinkedIn)
  • Coordinate hosts and guests at the corporate hockey loge in Montreal and other sports tickets across offices
  • Manage merchandising/gifts for clients, welcome packages for new clients, etc.
  • Assist with tracking marketing budget and provide KPI reporting for sponsorships and events

     

Website, digital marketing and content creation

  • Responsible for website, ensuring content is up to date and optimized for brand look and feel
  • Prepare postings and updates for the website in English and French
  • Contribute to ideas for digital campaigns and promotions
  • Help manage activities related to podcast production, including content, speakers, recording, editing, and promotion
  • Manage rollout and maintenance of e-business cards
  • Support planning, writing, editing, and distributing internal and external newsletters, ensuring timely and engaging content.

 

Other

  • Propose and help manage internal events, including charitable events, to increase employee engagement that would contribute to a culture of inclusion, belonging and collaboration
  • Support the team’s quarterly reporting deliverables, including preparing quarterly reporting for sub-advisory mandates and Alliance clients
  • Assist with other projects as requested by manager

 

 

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Excellent writing skills; bilingualism required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing coordinator or specialist role
  • Creative, strong marketing acumen
  • Experience in or knowledge of investments
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized and autonomous in accomplishing tasks under responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enable successful partnering
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe suite
  • Experience with CRM software and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong digital marketing skills, including social media management and digital campaign execution
