POSITION SUMMARY:

The Delivery Manager (DM) is responsible for the project management of a set of
projects undertaken by the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) organization in a manner that optimizes
the ROI from these projects and ensures their alignment within the organizations
strategic objectives. The DM is accountable for ensuring the business needs and
outcomes for project delivery are achieved as per the business case

The DM will have experience in financial services industry be recognized for
his/her business acumen by the client set supported. The position requires
knowledge of emerging technologies, project management and life cycle
development methodologies and technical architectures pertaining to the area.
The DM will have demonstrated skills in relationship and general business
management.

Experience in GTB or related business or commercial banking services,
in the cash management, payments, online banking, correspondent banking
and Trade Finance sectors would be an asset .

Key accountabilities for this role:

• Clear articulation of business outcomes: This includes the articulation of
  desired business outcomes and service level agreements, the metrics to confirm
  success of those outcomes and the identification of key underlying assumptions,
  business and technology risks, necessary prerequisite initiatives, required
  supporting actions and intermediary outcomes.
  
  
  
• Determination of organizational and financial feasibility of the project,
  including the completion of the business case as appropriate.
  
  
  
• Definition of the solution: This includes ensuring at the project outset:
  
  
  
  • Proper consideration of business, technical and application architectural
    standards and emerging solutions as established and agreed by Technology Project Review.
    
    
  • Definition of development activities at sufficient detail levels
    
    
  • Articulation of the risk-based testing plan and scope; and
    
    
  • Description of user communication, training and implementation plans
    
  • This must be formally documented, as per standards, costed and represented on the project plan and tools (i.e. Microsoft Project)
    
    
  
  
• Co-management of vendors and third parties and negotiation of contracts
  Management of the delivery process ad documented in the Project Delivery
  Framework
  
  
  
• Provide consulting and guidance on project initiatives including business case preparation and developing creative/alternative approaches to problem
  resolution. The focus is to be kept on overall business solutions, not on
  specific packages or technologies.
  
  
  
• Motivating the Project Team and maintaining the momentum of the Project
  against background of changing and occasionally conflicting priorities
  
  
  
• Ongoing communication of project status, completing the monthly Project Status Reports and escalating issues to the stakeholders, Sponsor(s), and senior
  management to the SVP and EVP level, as required
  
  
  
• Ensuring the documentation and archiving of project activities, deliverables,
  tools and findings for future projects

EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  
  
• PMP designation an asset or formal Project Management Training.
  
  

• Available for travel, potential international travel.
  
  
• Flexibility for work location within the GTA.
  
  
• Fluency in English, fluency in Spanish an asset.
