Product Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Product Manager, you will contribute to building a competitive ABM channel by developing a feature rich customer experience. You will support the channel by improving the customer experience through identifying business opportunites to address competitive gaps, increase channel usage, generate new revenue or reduce costs. You will champion the Scotiabank ABM brand, both internally and externally, by supporting the development of marketing plans and highlighting marketing opportunities.

Key accountabilities for this role:
- Continually improve the ABM customer experience and channel usage by identifying new features and business opportunities that provide value to our customers and major clients.
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives. Key partners include technology teams, project managers, clients and external partners. Responsibilities include preparing requirements and business case and representing the business in all aspects of the project.
- Maintain an awareness of new technologies in the ABM self service banking field. Identify the impact to the industry and to Scotiabank's strategic goals.
- Support the development of marketing campaigns to promote the ABM channel as a whole and individual functionality within it. Manage the marketing needs of key clients.
- Monitor the competitive environment and develop new concepts to address competitive gaps, generate new revenue or reduce costs.
- Contribute to the growth of the ABM channel by supporting the acquisition of new clients and support partners. Support is provided in the form of participation in RFPs, preparation of presentations and research.
- Create and foster strong working relationships within peers, internal departments, clients and external partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have strong time and project management skills.
- Knowledge of technology with the ability to communicate to internal technology teams to understand roadmaps and create focus on business needs.
- Self-motivated innovative thinker with the ability to work independently as well as with individuals in a fast paced envionment.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Photoshop would be an asset.
EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:
- Post secondary diploma or degree in IT or Business Administration preferred.
