Delivery Manager Group Treasury MIS Initiatives

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Delivery Manager (DM) is responsible for the project management of the Structured Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk
projects undertaken by TAG (within ITS) on behalf of the Group Treasury business line and the MIS Program Office in a manner that ensures their alignment to the overall Executive MIS initiative. The DM is accountable for ensuring the business needs and outcomes for project delivery (ie, scope, time, budget) are achieved as per the business case and that risks and issues are managed effectively.
The DM is experienced in managing large projects within financial services industry, and is recognized for his/her business acumen by the client set supported. The position requires knowledge of the banking industry, emerging technologies, project management and life cycle development methodologies and technical architectures pertaining to the area. The DM will have demonstrated skills in relationship building, communication and general business management.
Key accountabilities for this role:
You will have the opportunity to:
- Utilize your seven plus years experience in articulating business outcomes. This includes service level agreements, metrics for success, business and technology risks, prerequisite initiatives and supporting actions for intermediary outcomes;
- Utilize your five plus five years experience in defining the solution. This includes business, technical and application standards. Definition of development activities at all levels; risk based testing plan and scope, description of user communication, training and implementation plans;
- Seven plus years of experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, business case preparation, status reporting, documentation and archive of deliverables for future projects.

EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business
Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience;
- PMP designation an asset or formal Project Management Training.
