POSITION SUMMARY:



Scotiabank is looking for an individuals with a strong analytical background to join the Security & Change Control Team . QUALIFICATIONS:


The desired candidate will have:





  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and oral;

  • Strong time management skills, along with well developed analytical and critical thinking skills;

  • Experience working in a task and goal oriented team focus environment;

  • A strong technical background, understanding of SDLC & Version Control with an expertise of scripting languages in regards to UNIX & SQL;

  • A desire to learn, grow and shows a commitment to the team.





OTHER INFORMATION:






  • This opportunity is critical to banking operations. You will be required to manage and facilitate builds in regards to the applications being supported. The UAT builds can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 days with regular workflow. Flexibility around hours of work is required to properly facilitate the change requests.
