Business Analysis Manager Global Equity Finance and Prime Brokerage

POSITION SUMMARY:




Key accountabilities for this role:



You will have the opportunity to:




  • Utilize your two plus years managing a team of Business Analysts, to solve highly complex and multifaceted situations, in relation to projects and business needs of Scotia Capital;


  • Use your five plus years expertise in project planning, securing and scheduling resources;


  • Leverage your five years experience in business case proposals, testing, implementation strategies, progress monitoring, financial review and gaining support from senior management;


  • Five years experience supporting global trading units with new systems, enhancements, training, risk and vendor management;


  • Apply your knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial markets, with your five years experience in Global Equity Finance & Prime Brokerage, Fixed Income, and Derivatives;


  • Coach and mentor staff with performance monitoring, feedback and career development.









QUALIFICATIONS:







  • Three to five years expertise in Capital Markets front, middle and back office processes;


  • Executive level communication skills, with strong interpersonal and negotiation ability, to obtain co-operation from users and senior management;


  • Possess excellent understanding of EDP practices, systems development, modeling tools;


  • Current technology trend and analysis skills;


  • Five years of experience in the systems implementation process, and providing post-implementation support.
