Application Development Manager Fixed Income and Mocatta

POSITION SUMMARY:
Key accountabilities for this role:
You will have the opportunity to:
- Manage the development and implementation of applications;
- Manage the team that analyzes the business requirements;
- Schedule the resources and monitor the progress of the project plan;
- Provide technical direction, coaching and mentoring to the project team;
- Manage the support of the production systems during user acceptance testing..
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Utilize your five plus years of development and business systems analysis to solve and troubleshoot problems;
- Utilize the three plus years of strong leadership skills to ensure the team provides needed business support;
- Five years experience in object oriented design and on-line processing technologies;
- Five years of experience in supporting developed applications, platforms or architecture;
- Experience with banking and/or Capital Markets development preferred.
Technical requirements:
- Client/Server Computing;
- Java technologies (JSP, Struts, Hibernate, Cobra Weblogic);
- Database (Oracle, SQL, Sybase);
- C/C++;
- Operating Platforms (Unix, Windows);
- web development;

- application securities;
- IDE and RUP tools.
