Credit Solutions Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:


The Credit Solutions Manager (CSM) is responsible for contributing to the profitable growth and quality of the Bank’s Commercial Credit portfolio by providing financial solutions for clients. Tasks include risk analysis, deal structuring, credit pricing, negotiation, and presentation in concert with the Client Relationship Manager. The incumbent interfaces directly with clients, in partnership with the Client Relationship Manager. The CSM liaises with Global Risk Management through the credit decision-making process.
The CSM customer portfolio is Agricultural based.



Commercial Banking provides mid-market and independent business clients throughout Canada with innovative borrowing solutions for financing growth, money management services to help efficiently manage cash flow, and tools and strategies to mitigate business risks.


QUALIFICATIONS:

    The Credit Solutions Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of the Bank’s lending policies, practices and procedures, as well as an awareness of business trends, economic, technological, social, legal and political conditions and factors. A solid knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles and policies is a must. The incumbent must possess effective communication skills, both written and oral. In the administration of credit, complex loan documentation (e.g. loan agreements) and security provision requirements must be understood and applied. The incumbent needs to be a highly organized, analytical and logical person.

    The incumbent should also be able to demonstrate the functional competencies as listed below:

EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:


  • The incumbent must have a degree in finance, accounting or business
