Customer Service Officer

Customer Service Officers are key to Scotiabank’s success - they are the primary point of contact for our customers over the phone.
You will take personal responsibility for providing Scotiabank’s Customers with responses to their inquiries by being prompt, knowledgeable, accurate and professional. You will also research and resolve their financial service-related concerns. Each interaction is an opportunity for you to utilize your superior problem-solving and relationship-building skills to achieve Customer Service Excellence at Scotiabank.
You will work in a structured team environment, creating outstanding customer experiences and maximizing opportunities to promote Scotiabank’s services and products.

Qualifications:
Customer Service Experience
Proficiency in a PC-Windows environment, with strong keyboarding skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Passion to learn
Interest in financial services
High school diploma
Ability to commit to up to 9 weeks F/T paid training (8:30 - 4:30)Flexible benefits and competitive salary
Able to work part-time 26.5 hours/week days, evenings and Saturdays. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m., Saturday: 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and Sunday: closed
